Class Attire - Syllabus Program

It is important for everyone in class to have a uniform appearance to encourage unity and discipline. In all classes girls are expected to wear their hair up in a bun or other fashion that is neat and away from their face. Each level has a specific color leotard and style. All levels require pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Pointe shoes and ballet skirts are required for girls in the upper levels. Male students will wear black tights with black ballet shoes and a white, close-fitting T-shirt.

Patterson's Burlington, Massachusetts is the official supplier of dancewear for the Acton School of Ballet. You may also obtain class attire at Danstuff in Acton, Dance This Way in Concord, Patterson's North in Chelmsford, The Dancer's Image in Newtonville, and Dancer's Boutique in Fitchburg.

We prefer seamed mesh tights in ballet pink. From time to time manufacturer’s change their dyes or model numbers. The following is the latest information we have available:
