Dress Rehearsal Schedule
Dress rehearsals take place on two days — Tuesday, May 13 at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 15 at 3:30 p.m. See the chart below for your rehearsal times.

Dress Rehearsal Information
Full costume, girls’ hair up in performance style (no makeup required). Dancers in Pre-Ballet, Level 1 and Level 2 should arrive at Dress Rehearsal in costume. Please allow enough time for warm-up and costume preparation. Dancers wear their costumes for dress rehearsal but no makeup.
Please be ready to begin at your scheduled time. We make every attempt to stay on schedule. Our primary purpose is to ensure each child is comfortable and confident on the stage, so please bear with us if we get behind schedule. Thank you!
Please sit quietly with your class in the auditorium. This is an opportunity for dancers to observe the other classes. If parents stay to watch rehearsal, it would be helpful to assist in keeping the smaller children seated in their class groups. After each class has rehearsed their dance, they may leave or stay to watch the rehearsal.
No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium at any time. Mrs. Morris will sell tickets at the dress rehearsal between 4:00 and 8:30 P.M. Parents may video only during dress rehearsal, so please plan accordingly.
Performance Information
- Students taking 2 or more classes per week are in both performances.
- Students taking 1 ballet class per week are in only one (1) performance as follows:

Dancer arrival times to theater on performance days (very important!)
- Pre-Ballet classes: 1:15 p.m.
- Levels 1 & 2: 12:30 p.m.
- Levels 3, 4, & 5: 12:30 p.m.
- Levels 6, 7, 8 & 9: 12:00 p.m.
Please allow enough travel time so that your child arrives on time.
Performance Etiquette and Information For Parents and Dancers
Dancers must arrive to the theater in street clothes and leave in street clothes. For the performances on Saturday and Sunday dancers go directly to their designated dressing rooms, where they change into costume and go immediately to makeup. Families will be directed to dressing rooms by faculty and signage.
The auditorium will open to parents and audience 30 minutes prior to curtain.
Dancers must remain backstage throughout the performance unless they are done with their dance by intermission and want to rejoin their families. They must change back to street clothes before they enter the auditorium and can only do so during intermission. Dancers may not enter the theater while the performance is underway.
There is no food or drink allowed in the auditorium at any time. Dancers may not enter the auditorium in costume at any time. If anyone must leave the auditorium for any reason during the performance, they must wait until a class’s dance is over. Out of respect for the dancers onstage and other audience members, please leave only during the applause .
Videos
Parents may video only during dress rehearsal. There will be high-quality professional videos available of the performance.
No video cameras are allowed in the auditorium on performance days. No flash photography is allowed at any time, as it can momentarily blind the dancers and prove dangerous.
