Summer Dance Camp 2009

ASB's Dance Camp is scheduled for three weeks: July 13-17, July 20-24, and July 27-31. Students from ages 4 to 18 may register for one, two or all three weeks. The camp welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds.

We have a full and exciting schedule planned for all participants. Our faculty will include Patricia Estorino, Marina Tomashuk, Audra Carabetta, Meghan Meehan, and Eve Agush.

Junior Division: 5-8 years old

The Junior Division meets from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. daily.

9:00 - 10:15 a.m.	ballet technique
10:15 - 10:30 a.m.	rest break
10:30 - 11:15 a.m.	choreography/acting
11:15 a.m. - Noon	jazz/hip-hop

Tuition: $225.00 per week
Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Hair in a bun or neatly tied back.
Faculty: Marina Tomashuk (ballet, choreography), and Meghan Meehan (jazz/hip-hop).

Bring a healthy snack daily.

Intermediate Division: 9-12 years old

The Intermediate Division meets from 12:30 - 4:30 daily, and offers two age-appropriate sections: one for 9-10 year olds, and one for 11-12 year olds. Both of these sections enjoy classes in ballet technique,variations and ballet history, jazz, repertory, modern, flamenco and acting.

9-10 Year Olds

12:30 - 2:00 p.m.	ballet technique
2:00 - 3:00 p.m.	variations/history
3:00 - 3:15 p.m.	rest break
3:15 - 4:30 p.m.	jazz/modern/flamenco

11-12 Year Olds

12:30 - 2:00 p.m.	ballet technique
2:00 - 3:15 p.m.	jazz/modern/flamenco
3:15 - 3:30 p.m.	rest break
3:30 - 4:30 p.m.	variations/history

Tuition: $250.00 per week
Attire: Leotard, tights and ballet slippers, jazz shoes if owned. Hair in a bun.

Upper Division: 13-18 years old

The Upper Division meets from 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. daily and is for ages 13-18. These students take classes in ballet technique, repertory, jazz, modern, and flamenco.

2:00 - 3:30 p.m.	ballet technique
3:30 - 3:45 p.m.	rest break
3:45 - 5:00 p.m.	repertory

Tuition: $275.00 per week
Attire: Leotard, tights and ballet slippers. Jazz and character shoes if owned. Hair in a bun.

Pointe Class

Pointe Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. and is for students beginning or continuing on pointe. The class is by invitation only for Intermediate or Upper Division students. Applicatants must pass ASB's Pointe Readiness Evaluation. Please contact ASB to verify your studentʼs eligibility in this supplementary class.

We keep our class sizes low to ensure a quality camp experience for all. Full tuition must accompany registration form to hold a studentʼs spot, and is non-refundable.

Attire

Girls taking Summer Camp should bring ballet slippers, pink tights, and either a black leotard or the leotard they used for their regular ballet classes in the Spring. Boys should have black ballet slippers, black leggings or tights, and a white T-shirt or their class leotard from the Spring.
